Welcome to Zion Lutheran Church! Pastor Herman Williams is the new pastor here at Zion.
Pastor was born and raised in Brooklyn, N.Y. After being discharged from the US Air Force in 1958 he attended the University of Texas in Austin, Texas. Following college he worked for a number of large corporations on the East Coast and West Coast. He attended seminary from 1980 until 1984 and was ordained on March 17, 1985.
After serving in three parishes in the Northwest he retired in 2002 and was widowed in 2003. In 2004 he married Carol Brunner Falk in Wenatchee, Washington and they made their home in McMinnville, Oregon.
After living in Wenatchee, Washington and Denver, Colorado they purchased a home in Star, Idaho in 2009. Pastor was called to Zion in August of this year as our interim Pastor.
