Welcome to Zion Lutheran Church! Pastor Ross Shaver is the new pastor here at Zion.
Pastor Ross Shaver is from Woodburn, Oregon where he was raised by his parents with his two brothers. He graduated from Oregon State University in 2002 with Bachelor Degrees in Liberal Studies and International Studies. After spending a year studying Biblical languages at Concordia University-Portland, he enrolled in Concordia Seminary -St. Louis and graduated in 2007 with a Master's of Divinity. He has previously served as the pastor of Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church in Homedale, ID.
In 2009, Pastor Shaver married his wife, Kris, a wonderful and energetic woman whom he met in 2001 at the LCMS National Youth Gathering in New Orleans. Pastor and Kris enjoy bike riding, spending time outdoors and playing with their dog.
