Zion SMC was founded to promote spiritual as well as physical health in our congregation.  Zion SMC facilitates the use of available resources within the congregation and the community.  The committee sponsors the “Food Trunk” to collect food staples and personal items for the Salvation Army, comforts the ill with visits and small gifts, and supports, monetarily, the making of quilts for Lutheran World Relief.  As an added mission, the committee supplies and maintains the children’s quiet bags and provides meals and transportation to our shut-ins.

Meetings are scheduled as needed in conjunction with the quilters’ schedule (usually Thursday mornings at 9:00 in Luther Hall).  Anyone needing assistance or information please contact Lee Trask (see contact us) or any of the other committee members.
